I’m B. Priya Harini, a city gardening enthusiast from Madanapalle, Andhra Pradesh, India, helping apartment dwellers grow food in small spaces.
Since 2022, I’ve been testing and documenting urban gardening methods in my own balcony garden in Madanapalle. Alongside this hands-on work, I’ve spent years independently studying published agricultural research ICAR, TNAU, IARI, and other institutional sources to ground every technique in real evidence, not guesswork. This combination of independent research and hands-on testing shapes every guide I publish.
My terrace setup has grown from a handful of pots into a working 24 sq ft trial ground 38+ containers, 40+ plant varieties, and a lot of trial and error along the way. I started because I couldn’t find a single guide that accounted for Madanapalle’s 35–44°C summers or our municipal water quality. Every technique on this blog has been tested here first, in these exact conditions, before I ever recommend it to a reader.
